A framework provides guidance on defining social value for any built environment project. It has been designed to be relevant and useful for practitioners at any stage of the asset life cycle. The aim is to provide a common language for practitioners and set out a certain standard of delivering social value in the built environment context. UKGBC will continue to work collaboratively with the industry to refine the framework and support organisations wishing to use it. It is designed to help us understand and positively influence that of people, place and quality of life.
