McKinsey Global Institute report: Climate risk and response: Physical hazards and socioeconomic impact. Global average global temperature has risen by about 1.1 degrees Celsius since 1880s. McKinsey: Physical climate risk has seven characteristics: Increasing, non-stationary, nonlinear and nonlinear. The socioeconomic effects of a changing climate will be large and often unpredictable, authors say. Authors: Leaders must understand the new climate reality and its potential impact on their organizations in different locales around the world. Governments, businesses, and other organizations will have to address the crisis in different ways.
