Using the skills learnt you will be able to create a specification that is fit for purpose and takes critical factors into account such as social value and climate impact.

Learning Outcomes
Procurement Cycle – In this topic you will be given an overview of the four stages of the procurement cycle, including Plan. Understand how to plan your procurement based on your organisation needs.
Specification Overview – What is a procurement specification? Why is it important? And how do you start to prepare one?
Specification considerations – Understand the factors to take into account when developing a specification.
Specification approval – Once you have completed your specification, what is needed to confirm that it is ready? What should you do if it is missing key components?
Free Resources – Several freely downloadable resources available that will help maximise your procurement approach.
